Galapagos -Kreuzblende simulates a 36 minute cross-fade between science and sound art. It ends as a hybrid sonore. A speech on speciation among birds step by steps morphes into a sound texture employing virtual voices that adopt  the sounds of Darwin’s finches.

Antje Vowinckel is a Berlin based sound artist, radio artist and performer. She works for a variety of public radio stations such as WDR, DRadio, SWR and also creates musical live performances and sound installations. www.antjevowinckel.de

NACHRICHTENTSTELLT is inspired by the specific sound of radio news that are transformed into a series of sound poetry compositions.
