Errant Sound
Sonic Footprints is research project by Louis Möckel that examines the environmental impact of industrial noise by treating it as an ecological footprint. The vinyl publication follows field recordings captured along the supply chain of a mass-produced toy dolphin, revealing how these sounds intersect with the acoustic worlds of real dolphins.
It features conversations with Tim Ingold, Salomé Voegelin, Robert Rosenberger and Gianni Pavan, plus musical interpretations by @hsxchcxcxhs and @inland_ed.
