Installation for washing maschine
Georg Werner’s ‘Green Washing’ installation brings art, nature and technology together. At its centre is a shiny chrome washing machine drum that appears to float above an artificial lake surrounded by reeds, creating a tranquil image. The drum rotates slowly and intermittently, powered by electricity from a solar cell. The only interruption to the idyll is the occasional clatter of a coin inside the drum.
