*TOPIA Sound Art Festival proposes greater connection between scenes from the global south and north
Collectively curated, the event brings together artists from Brazil, Germany, England and Turkey and explores listening as a tool for (de-)construction and (re-)signification of narratives and experiences
*TOPIA Sound Art Festival takes place free of charge between November 13th and 27th. The event has an online schedule split between MEETINGS (BARTOPIA) and EXHIBITION (CLOUDTOPIA), as well as some face-to-face events at Errant Sound Gallery, in Berlin. Two other special partnerships complete the event: an artistic residency together with Somarumor II and a pilot project of musical improvisation organized by Sonora: músicas e feminismos.

The Festival organizers Vanessa De Michelis and Laura Mello walk through the artworks exhibited at the virtual gallery, broadcasting it directly from Errant Sound Gallery, in Berlin. Streaming of the work speaking thr-o-ugh by the resident artists Mariana Carvalho, Nirah Pomar and Elif Gülin Soğuksu, and chat in the end.
